Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP)

In this category it is possible to configure the SMTP server allowing the server (e.g. task planner, error notifications) to send emails.

SMTP Host

Specifies the SMTP mail server's host name in order for email actions to work correctly.

SMTP Port

Specifies the SMTP mail server's port number. You can specify a certain port to use for SMTP connections. If the field for the port is empty the default SMTP port 25 will be used.

Connection Security

Specifies the used encryption for the connection to the SMTP server. If no encryption is set then the password will be send in plain text.

Authentication Required

If the SMTP server requires an authentication, then select its type using this property.

POP3 Host/Port

Specifies the host name of the POP3 mail server, required if POP3 authentication is used.

User Name

The user name for your email account.

Password

Password for your email account.

Sender Email Address

Email address which will be visible as the sender in any email send by the server.

With this button you can validate the Email Settings.
